Research Interests
My research lies at the intersection between computer science and economics. The overarching objective of my work is to facilitate efficient utilisation of scarce resources in complex settings. Typical applications such as energy markets or internet based environments involve the presence of multiple of self-interested agents that present interesting challenges in terms of co-ordination and welfare maximisation. Techniques from the field of combinatorial optimisation, game theory and mechanism design present the key tools for tackling such problems.
